  • My Strava Feed -- Strava is a great app that integrates with a wide variety of phones, watches, and other apps (for, e.g., MyFitnessPal).  A free version is available (which I use).  Sign up!
  • Garmin Connect -- If you have a Garmin watch, GarminConnect will gather your info.  Mine is set up to send my activity to Strava (but not to Apple Health; otherwise I would get duplicates).
  • MyFitnessPal -- I use this site to track my calories.  It integrates with Strava, which is great since it adjusts my calorie goals based on my activity levels.
  • Training Peaks -- Analyzes information to give you feedback on your workouts.  Mentioned many times in The Triathlete's Training Bible (below).  Click here to see my results
  • RiderLevel -- Claims to give you your 'rider level' (which is a standardized numerical score) based on your Strava info.  Click here to see my results.
  • Storyteller -- A neat program that creates visualizations of your activity -- i.e., tells a story using your Strava data.
  • Heatflask -- Shows a visual representation of your recent activity.
  • Fithaxx -- Choose a goal, and Fithaxx will tell you your estimated finish times.
  • Pr.fm -- If you listen to Spotify during your workouts, it'll create reports.

Reading Material

A few books I'm reading.   Thoughts added at the links as I complete them.  Books that I particularly enjoyed have one to three stars next to them.  (Not to diminish the others, but these are the ones I've focused on as a beginner.)
